7-Day Break

Dec 22 or Dec 29 – We break up our journey with an overnight stay in Belgium. D
Dec 23 or Dec 30 – We continue south and arrive at our hotel in Austria for a four-night stay. Enjoy a welcome drink on arrival. B,D
Christmas Eve or New Years Eve – Hohenschwangau (included). Join this excursion through stunning scenery in the Tirol region and then travel north into Bavaria to the lovely town of Füssen. You will also see Hohenschwangau, where the fairytale Neuschwanstein Castle stands perched above the village. This unique castle was built by King Ludwig and is now recognised the world over. B,D
Christmas Day or New years Day – Swiss Glacier Express (included) and Vaduz (included). An unforgettable journey through breathtaking alpine scenery as you travel from Chur to Andermatt by the Glacier Express via the Oberalp Massif. We later call in at Vaduz, the capital of Liechtenstein, for a brief stop. B,D
Boxing Day or Jan 2 – St Anton (optional) and Muttersberg (optional - Christmas tour only). Join our excursion to the famous winter resort of St. Anton, where you'll be able to watch the skiers tackle the slopes, perhaps take a cable car ride and generally enjoy the atmosphere of this popular mountain destination. During the day, you'll also have the opportunity to take a horse and carriage ride (optional). This evening, you have an included dinner at your hotel or, on the Christmas tour only, the option to join our Muttersberg excursion, please see below for details. B,D
Dec 27 or Jan 3 – During our journey home, we spend a night in Belgium. B
Dec 28 or Jan 4 – Journey to Calais then return home. B
Muttersberg Excursion – Christmas tour only: On Boxing Day, choose to enjoy dinner at your hotel, or why not join our evening optional excursion to the restaurant on the Muttersberg mountain including live music, a 3-course meal and gondola ride up and down the mountain. The cost of this excursion is £36 per person. (This has to be prebooked)

Your Hotels

Christmas
You'll stay for four nights at the 4-star Holiday Inn, centrally located in the old town of Feldkirch. The hotel has a restaurant, bar, lift, indoor pool, sauna, steam bath and fitness room. All bedrooms have T.V. and telephone.

New Year
You'll stay for four nights at the 4-star Hotel Messmer, centrally located in Bregenz, a short walk from Lake Constance. The hotel has a restaurant, bar, lift and sauna. All bedrooms have T.V. and telephone. Overnight stays in Belgium for both tours will be in city-style hotels.
