3-Day or 4-Day Break

Day 1 Travel from your local joining point for a Channel crossing then to your hotel in Belgium.

Day 2 A full day included visit to Brussels, where the Christmas markets are magnificently brought to life in this already-vibrant city. An array of products will be available in a warm and friendly atmosphere. This market, with its cheerful lights, delicious aromas and a vast number of stalls, promises a true holiday atmosphere. In addition to the Christmas market, the ice-skating rink offers fun for all. The holiday atmosphere would not be complete without a visit to the Grand Place, decorated in festive lights for the occasion. B

Day 3 (3-day holiday) – We visit the medieval city of Bruges, with time to explore the festive stalls and tempting shops, before returning to the U.K. B
(4-day holiday) – An included excursion to Valkenburg, with time at leisure to enjoy the festive splendour of the Christmas market in the Town Cave (Gemeentegrot), the oldest and largest underground Christmas market in Europe. Thousands of visitors have already passed through its labyrinth of passages to take advantage of the seasonal markets’ special atmosphere. The ancient galleries and the stylish dramatisation of an episode from Valkenburg’s rich history, provide the perfect backdrop to this uniquely appealing occasion. The Christmas market is embellished with song and music and as you wander through the grotto, you will be tempted by many of the seasonal attractions on sale. If you’re ever at a loss as to what to buy for that special someone at Christmas, this underground bazaar will give you plenty of ideas! B

Day 4 A visit to Bruges before returning to the U.K. B

3-day holiday – You will stay for two nights at the 4-star Holiday Inn Ghent Expo on the outskirts of Ghent. The hotel has a recently refurbished restaurant and bar plus sauna, fitness room and lift. All bedrooms have T.V., telephone, hairdryer, airconditioning and tea/coffee making facilities.
