4 Day Itinerary
Day 1 - London to Cologne
We depart from St Pancras International by Eurostar to Brussels. Our journey continues by Thalys to Cologne, where we board MS Tranquility and set sail upstream towards Koblenz. (D)
Day 2 - Cochem Christmas Market
After a morning cruising the majestic Moselle, we head ashore to enjoy Cochem's delightful Christmas Market. This idyllic wine town with intricate half-timbered houses sits under an imposing castle. We enjoy dinner moored here, with time to explore the town as darkness falls and the streets are illuminated with advent cheer. (B,L,D)
Day 3 - Koblenz, the Rhine Gorge and Rudesheim
This morning our cruise continues back along the Moselle to Koblenz, a picturesque port town that sits where the Moselle and Rhine meet. We then enter the Rhine Gorge, where steep vineyards are overlooked by hilltop castles and pretty villages hug the banks. On arrival in pretty Rüdesheim, you are free to explore the town and its 'Christmas Market of Nations', where more than 120 stalls represent 12 nations, their specialities and traditions. Along the Drosselgasse and in the Old Town, shops and stalls offer a variety of produce, and the town's winemakers open their cellars to serve wine and other winter treats. On our return to the ship we set sail for Cologne. (B,L,D)
Day 4 - To Brussels and London
Arriving in Cologne this morning we disembark, then leave Cologne by Thalys train for Brussels. Here we join the Eurostar service to St Pancras International. (B)

Day 4 - Frankfurt and Mainz
We dock in Frankfurt this morning, and after breakfast you have time to explore its Christmas Market. Frankfurt has been holding a Christmas Market for 600 years. We depart at midday and arrive in Mainz in time to explore the town's Christmas Market this evening. (B,L,D)
Day 5 - To Brussels and London
Arriving in Cologne this morning we disembark, then leave Cologne by Thalys train for Brussels. Here we join the Eurostar service to St Pancras International and enjoy a complimentary meal and drinks served before our arrival. (B,E)

Accommodation
MS Tranquility
Built in 2007, MS Tranquility, has an elegant lounge, bar, restaurant, cafe, small library, hairdresser, a gift shop and a fitness room.
The ship features large cabins and those on the Main Deck have portholes, whereas Middle Deck and Upper Deck cabins have ceiling to floor panorama windows and French balconies. All cabins are located on the outside of the ship so you can enjoy views of the passing scenery.
Cabins feature a shower, desk, television, radio, telephone, hairdryer, safe, minibar, and air conditioning.
